How It Works
A simple, transparent, and compassionate process — from diagnosis to recovery.
Diagnosis
Pet parent takes their pet to a medical center and gets a diagnosis and cost estimate.
Create a Case
They create a case with their story, images, medical details, the estimate, and the deadline.
Community Funds
We come together and put the money aside — no transaction happens until the medical procedure is done.
Green Light
We give the green light to the clinic and pet parent to proceed with the treatment.
Direct Payment
After the procedure is completed, we pay the medical center directly and then process your share.
Gratitude & Recognition
We send you our deepest gratitude and love, together with your pet friend's and their parent's, plus a badge of recognition as a proud member of this community.
And Again
And we do it again and again together.
Our Story
Life is getting hard, and keeping up with the long list of necessary expenses is getting even harder. On top of that, veterinary expenses are ridiculously high — to the point that some of us face an awful crossroads: do we take our pet to the vet, or do we postpone it and hope nothing bad happens?
Whether we brought this on ourselves as humans, or life is simply playing a tough game on all of us, our pets don't deserve this.
We built this website hoping that no one will ever have to go through the pain of looking into their loyal companion's eyes, seeing their suffering, and not being able to do anything about it.
No pet should ever go through pain simply because they chose to love us.
Some Facts
In Canada, an estimated 5+ million pets are affected by delayed or skipped veterinary care due to cost barriers, reflecting a growing gap between available treatment and what families can afford.
Across North America, this issue becomes even more visible in the United States, where nearly 50 million pets are estimated to be in need of veterinary care but are not receiving it (PetSmart Charities & veterinary access studies). This reflects a widespread affordability challenge affecting tens of millions of animals.
Some NumbersPetSmart Charities & Gallup State of Pet Care Study, 2025
- 52% of U.S. pet owners reported skipping or declining needed veterinary care in the previous year
- 71% of those who skipped care said cost was the primary reason
- 14% of owners who skipped care said their pet’s condition worsened or the pet died afterward
- 30% of pet owners said they personally know someone whose pet died because the owner could not afford necessary veterinary treatment
- 11% knew someone who had to surrender a pet due to veterinary costs
Together, these findings highlight a North American reality where millions of pets are at risk not because treatment doesn't exist, but because it is financially out of reach for many families.
